We had our graduation dinner here last week and everything was amazing! We couldn't have asked for more! Ralphael was super helpful and accommodating from start to finish. His whole team was also very helpful and friendly. The venue was transformed into such a magical night for all our graduating residents and fellows. We'll be back!!

Food Was Awesome but service was spectacular right in point. Greek Salad is fresh and tasty and the seafood was just as I expected. We were greeted and treated like royalty. Will go back just for the service, they do go far and beyond

Made a last minute reservation for a business dinner and they didn't let me down ! The food here is sooo good, and you get big plates, so you can share with the table if you'd like. The lamb was amazing and tender My favorite was the dipping plate with pita chips. As for ambiance, the restaurant was mostly empty when we showed up so service was quick but they had lots of Christmas lights and good music playing 6.5/10

Super quality seafood restaurant! The appetizers were also outstanding with many vegetarian options. If we didn't want to try the seafood main courses, would've been also equally satisfied with ordering a variety of the appetizers. Both the eggplant chips and the moussaka were really good, not too greasy, well flavored, and portions were sizable. So was the Greek salad. By the end of three appetizers we were pretty full! For the main the king shrimp wasn't as good and in fact a bit "fishy". The lavraki whole fish was solid and very fresh and flavourful. Service was efficient and attentive. The dining setting was not as intimate like many NYC restaurants as it's a big venue. Overall recommend for seafood

Great ambiance! Dim, chic interior with a lot of space. The service was also respectful and attentive. The food was okay. We got the assorted dips and the moussaka to start. Both dishes could have used a little more flavor. For the mains, we got the scallops and the lobster pasta, which were very tasty. Finished with fantastic baklava and lava cake for dessert. Great for a date night!

We came here for a graduation dinner with a group of 6 people and were seated right away with our reservation. The restaurant is really huge and it definitely can fit large parties including weddings, etc. They have several areas that can seat a lot of guests on 2 floors. The service was nice and the food came out pretty quickly. Decent flavor, but not enough to wow us. The portions were really small for the amount of money that you are paying. Most dishes were $35-45. 3.5 out of 5 stars but I bumped them up because they were super nice and gave us a complimentary dessert platter as congratulations.

New Year... New favorite restaurant! My wife and I dined at Thalassa in Tribeca for New Year's and absolutely fell in love. While the food was incredible, I'd like to start with the service which was completely above and beyond it wasn't just the waiter, it's the entire staff, each of whom appear to work as a team and will get you whatever you, the minute you need it. Not once did someone say, "I'll send your waiter by". We've dined at several Michelin rated restaurants that offer less attentive service than Thalassa. As for the food, we both ordered Lavraki (Sea Bass) which was prepared to perfection. As good as what you'll be served in Greece. We also had the lemon potatoes (very good) and Fava (incredible). As for atmosphere, Thalassa is breathtaking inside with a modern look against an industrial background with exposed brick. Tribeca at its best. I enthusiastically recommend Thalassa to anyone who loves fresh seafood and/or Greek cuisine Back story.... This fall my wife and I traveled to Greece for the first time and fell in love with their cuisine. While in Athens, we befriended the owner of a local jewelry store who told us his friend owned a Greek restaurant in Tribeca and insisted we give it a try when we return home. So happy we did!
